BUT MAYBE NOT SO BRIGHT TO GET CAUGHT IN A RACIST STORM: When SAbabes.net asked her in a recent interview what her favourite food was, she replied: "Is there anything worse than a beautiful girl with no intelligence? No. I’ll go with brain food – Fish!"
This was her k-word racist rant
FHM model Jessica Leandra Dos Santos has been stripped of her title as winner of their Modelbook 2011 competition with immediate effect.
The magazine announced this on their website after calls to strip her of her title flowed on Twitter.
The model, who goes by the name Jessica Leandra and describes herself as “a woman of very few words” on her site, posted a tweet on Thursday that read: "Just, well took on an arrogant and disrespectful kaffir inside Spar. Should have punched him, should have".
She has since apologised on her blog and deleted her tweet, as well as another angry post: "Highlight of my weekend? Almost punching an #Engen petrol assistant. No tolerance for rude African monkeys whatsoever!"
FHM announced she has been stripped of her title “with immediate effect,” editor Brendan Cooper said on the site.
"It’s important to us that it is noted that she in no way represents the magazine; she was merely the winner of an online poll we ran, and that we totally distance ourselves from her blatantly racist comments.
"We have removed all pictures of her from our website and will have nothing to do with her in future.
FHM said it is a proudly South African magazine and says ‘No’ to racism.
Leandra was met with anger and a string of livid replies.
She then replied: "Tweeted with anger after an incident last night. Forget it pls, I dnt stand still against sexual harassment, thats all."
Columnist Mabine Seabe lodged a complaint against Leandra with the South African Human Rights Commission. Others have followed suit, showing support with messages sporting the tag #DownWithRacism"
Quick Trim SA has also announced on Twitter that they're withdrawing their sponsorship of Leandra.
"Due to the severity of the remarks by #JessicaLeandra #QuickTrimSA herewith ends our sponsorship to her with immediate effect!"
Cooper told Eyewitness News: "We are appalled by Jessica's moronic, racist tweets."
